Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-01 · Version: pp-r3-2026-10-01
This Privacy Policy explains how Charlotte NC Siding Advisor (charlottencsidingadvisor.com) collects, uses and shares personal information. Charlotte NC Siding Advisor operates this site, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@charlottencsidingadvisor.com.
The short version. Charlotte NC Siding Advisor is a free matching service. When you ask for help with a siding job, we pass your request to one independent local pro so they can contact you and quote. That pro pays us a fee for the introduction — that is how this site is funded. We do not sell your request to several companies, we do not sell lists, and we never take payment for the job.
1. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers and contact details | first name, mobile or phone number, ZIP code, email | you, on our forms |
| Your request | the service you need, timing, whether you own the home, notes you give us | you |
| Call recordings and transcripts | the audio of calls to or from our number, and an automated transcript | our phone system and its service providers |
| Text messages | messages you send to and receive from our number | our messaging provider |
| Consent records | the exact consent wording shown to you, its version, the time, the page, your IP address and browser details | our website and phone system |
| Device and usage data | IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, date and time | your browser, collected by our own first-party code |
| Inferences | whether a request is complete, how urgent it is, and an estimated job size | derived by us, including by automated tools, from what you tell us |
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information or other sensitive personal information, and we ask you not to include it in notes or on calls. We do not create voiceprints or other biometric identifiers from call audio.
2. How we use it
- To answer your call or form, understand the job and find one suitable local pro.
- To pass your request to the one pro we match you with, tell you who they are, and connect your call.
- To contact you about your request by phone, and by text if you agreed to texts.
- To check quality, resolve disputes between us and the pro about whether an introduction was valid (for example, wrong number or out of area), and bill the pro.
- To keep records that prove your consent and honor your opt-outs.
- To improve our forms, pages and matching, using records with your name and number removed where we can.
- To detect fraud and abuse, keep our systems secure, and meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
- The one matched pro. When you submit a request and confirm you want to be matched, you are directing us to share your request with one independent pro so they can contact you about it. We tell you the pro's name first. The pro gets your name, contact details and job details, and (on call transfers) hears you on the call. The pro pays us a fee for the introduction. The pro may use your details only to respond to your request. It may not resell them. Its own privacy practices apply once it has your information.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: telephone and text-messaging carriers, call-recording and transcription providers, an automated voice-assistant provider, website hosting, email delivery and security. They may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect rights, safety and property, and to a successor if our business is sold or reorganized (with this Policy continuing to apply).
Text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Text messages about your request come only from Charlotte NC Siding Advisor. (The one pro you confirm receives your phone number so it can call you about your job; it never receives your text-messaging opt-in or consent.)
We don't sell your information or share it for advertising. Passing your request to the one pro you confirm is a disclosure you ask us to make (California Civil Code §1798.140(ad)(2)(A) and (t)(2)(A) and similar rules in other states), not a sale. We never pass it to anyone else, and we never rent or sell lists. This site does not use third-party advertising cookies, pixels or session-replay tools. If you'd rather none of your information reaches a pro, use Your Privacy Choices (charlottencsidingadvisor.com/privacy-choices/) — we will honor it, but then we cannot match you.
4. Cookies, tracking and "Do Not Track"
We use a small number of first-party cookies and local storage for things the site needs (for example, remembering form progress) and first-party counting of page views and button clicks. We do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity on this site over time and across other websites. Our site does not change its behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because we do not track you across other sites. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. See our Cookie & Tracking Notice (charlottencsidingadvisor.com/cookies/).
5. How long we keep it
| Record | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Lead request and contact details | 24 months after your last contact with us, then deleted or de-identified |
| Call recordings | 24 months, unless needed for an open dispute or legal hold; the part of a recording in which you gave or withdrew consent is kept as a consent record |
| Transcripts and message logs | 24 months |
| Consent records (wording, version, time, IP) | 5 years after the consent was given or withdrawn, to prove we had permission |
| Do-not-contact / opt-out records | permanently, as a minimal record so we never contact you again |
| Website logs | 90 days |
6. Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP. Stop calls: say "stop" or press 9 on any call from us, or ask us at hello@charlottencsidingadvisor.com. We honor opt-outs across every site we operate, not just this one.
- Access, correct or delete your information, or opt out of sale/sharing: use charlottencsidingadvisor.com/privacy-choices/ or email hello@charlottencsidingadvisor.com. We respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days where the law allows and will tell you why).
- We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
North Carolina residents: your state has no comprehensive privacy law yet; we give you the same rights anyway.

7. Biometric information
Charlotte NC Siding Advisor does not collect voiceprints, face geometry or other biometric identifiers. Call audio is recorded on separate channels and converted to text only to handle your request; we do not use your voice to identify you, and our providers are contractually barred from creating voice templates. If we ever collected biometric identifiers, we would first get your written consent, and we would destroy them when the purpose ends or within 1 year of your last interaction, whichever comes first.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, logging and vendor contracts to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
9. Children
This site is for adults arranging work on a home. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we delete it.
10. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date and version. If a change is material, we will say so at the top of this page for 30 days, and we will not use information in a materially different way than described when it was collected without your consent.
When we share your request
We disclose your name, phone, ZIP and job details to one local pro only after you ask to be matched. That pro pays us a referral fee for the introduction. We treat this as a disclosure you direct (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.140(ad)(2)(A)); some state laws may still call it a "sale" or "sharing". We do not disclose your request to anyone else for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out on the Your Privacy Choices page; opting out does not cancel a match you have asked for, but we will not disclose your details to any other pro.
